I know for #1, some of you guys might think that my mom is a thai-chinese and that makes me a quarter thai. But why do I put learn to speak thai as one of my 2012 resolutions?
After a trip to Thailand, I then realized that I really have to speak thai. Because I can't even communicate with my maternal grandmother and the rest of the family. I can't even communicate with the salesgirl selling handphones in the market when I really need to top-up the prepaid card and I ended up making a fool out of myself. How embarrassing was that? I'm so fucking regret that I refused to learn to speak thai when I was a kid (Don't ask me why). So, I've decided to learn thai and hopefully this year when I visit my maternal grandmother, I can communicate with her. And of course, when it comes to work, knowing how to speak another language is a strength for me.
Hopefully I will be able to fufil all these resolutions by the end of the year! I don't want to be someone with no goals, no skills, NOTHING!
Hope that it will be a great year for me, and for you guys! Cheers!
